1- Read ALL of the short texts below on the origins of life (these are the same theories we studied in class). Your daily quiz will be based on these texts.
Spontaneousgeneration: http://www.infoplease.com/cig/biology/spontaneous-generation.html
Creationism: http://encyclopedia.kids.net.au/page/cr/Creationism
Panspermia:http://leiwenwu.tripod.com/panspermia.htm
Chemical and cellular evolution: http://www.chem.duke.edu/~jds/cruise_chem/Exobiology/miller.html
2- What do YOU think?
Now that you have learned about the four theories studied in class, think about Where do YOU think life originated? Pick one of the four theories and make a comic strip, story, pamphlet, drawing (with explanations) or a poem explaining IN DETAIL what this theory entailed AND why you think this theory describes best where life originated. Due Monday Sept 2 (group 1) and Tuesday Sept 3 (group 2)
3- Finish the questions from the activity "Is it Alive" that we started in class. I attached the notes below just in case you did not finish copying the words from the text.
